Roasted Chickpeas Recipe

- 1 can chickpeas
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt (pink Himalayan or garlic salt)
- Black pepper
- Basil
- Chili powder seasoning (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Drain the can of chickpeas and rinse under water 2-3 times
- Place on a plate and blot dry with paper towels (try to get them as dry as possible)
- Place the chickpeas in a bowl and drizzle olive oil on top along with salt, pepper, basil and chili powder (optional)
- Stir well and spread onto a cookie sheet
- Place in oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Check often after 30 minutes. They will be done when they just start to get crunchy.
- Once cooked, take out of oven and let sit until completely cool.
- You can store them in an airtight container once they cool.
