Testosterone and Tongkat Ali

Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) is a medicinal herb native to Southeast Asia and has been making waves for its potential role in enhancing testosterone levels.
Additionally, tongkat ali has also been promoted as a natural remedy for improving energy and enhancing physical performance. Sounds pretty good, right?
I don’t know about you but I am noticing A LOT of “new” herbs hitting the market and in supplement bottles. Read on to learn more about the claims of this herb/supplement.
But first, let’s briefly discuss testosterone. As you likely know, testosterone is a crucial hormone for both men and women, though it is predominantly associated with male health. It plays a vital role in muscle growth, fat distribution, bone density, and libido. As men age, testosterone levels naturally decline, leading to symptoms such as fatigue, reduced muscle mass, weight gain and diminished sexual function.
